Man, I hate spam. I have had my davglass.com email address for over 10 years now. I guess it’s nice to have it, but in that time the amount of spam I receive is unbelievable. Take a look at this picture, that’s alot of spam huh? That is a the amount of spam I get in a week and a half. Yes, I said 10 days. I have gotten over 3000 spam messages in 10 days. Let’s break that down:
- 300 per day
- 12.5 an hour
- 0.208.. per minute
- 9,000 per month (30 days)
- 109,500 per year
Now, I have seen some of the messages. Most of the make absolutley no sense what-so-ever. So my question is:
Why are there so many idiots out there sending me 109,500 spam messages a year? Most of them don’t even contain simple messages. Example:

What the hell is the above supposed to mean?
- Is it a bad translation?
- Is it a virus that makes all normal text look like that?
- Is it simply a monkey slamming his ass off of a keyboard?
Personally I vote for number 3 !</rant>
The single most annoying bug in Safari, is it’s lack of support for the LABEL tag. So I have written a small “patch” ,that you can include in your page, and it will “fix” the issue. No coding changes required, it simply works 
.

Sorry I haven’t posted much lately, but with all of the things that I have going on right now; it’s been a little stressful. Well 8 days from now I will be heading out for California. It’s going to be an interesting drive. I have never driven across country before so it should be a fun trip. If I’m lucky I’ll pick some hotels with internet access so I can post my progress. I plan on taking in a few of the sites on my way & of course I will have to stop and pickup something at every Harley shop I see. Maybe I’ll get to take some picture of the “the largest ball of twine” and other such oddities as well.
Well, we are now officially homeless. We closed the sale of our house this afternoon & we are temporarily living with my mother. I will be without a “normal” internet connection for the next couple of weeks, so posting may be minimal. But I will be posting a review of the new Yahoo! Beta email, which I finally got an invite to, as soon as I forward my mail to it instead of Google.
So I’m off to my brothers house to have a few beers. Cya..

I got Zach a new toy this weekend, but it turns out that Donna & I play it just as much (if not more) than he does. I got Zach a Nintendo DS to replace the Playstation2’s we sold yesterday. He seems to enjoy it more than the Playstations too. We got him SonicRush & Mario Kart for it. It’s really kinda kewl, I got Mario Kart to play through my Airport Express base station. I only had to change one setting in the base station.
I had to set the Multicast rate to 2 instead of 11.
Then the DS picked up the wireless connection & worked like a charm. I played Mario Kart online for over an hour.
Well, Zach’s turn at playing is up.. I get to play next..
