Yes I plan on leaving the tools package stand alone requiring nothing more than YAHOO and Dom. I&#039;m hoping to add a few new functions to it, I&#039;ll definitely look into the info in that article.</description>

		<description>I&#039;m all for optimization a smaller file size. I think it is a great idea. I&#039;m guessing you are still going to keep the same strucutre? (e.g. tools lib is a seperate standalone library and doesn&#039;t have any dependencies)

I use the tools library on its own at the moment and like the DOM enhancements on top of YUI(insertAfter, removeElement etc). Some other DOM add-ons like the ones at http://www.thinkvitamin.com/features/javascript/15-things-you-can-do-with-yahoo-ui would be nice.</description>
