Hey all –
In light of the new release I will be updating my Effects Library, Tools Package and Loader to take advantage of the new YAHOO and Element objects.
So start submitting your ideas and enhancements now 
One of my main goals is to rewrite the entire add-ons to optimize them as well as minimize the file size.. I will also be looking into making the Effects stand-alone so if you want one, just include one of the effects files or include the whole library.
I'm a 6 foot, bald, tattooed biker that just happens to be an extreme geek. I can do almost anything with a computer, from building a clustered web farm to writing the code to be served from it.

I’m all for optimization a smaller file size. I think it is a great idea. I’m guessing you are still going to keep the same strucutre? (e.g. tools lib is a seperate standalone library and doesn’t have any dependencies)
I use the tools library on its own at the moment and like the DOM enhancements on top of YUI(insertAfter, removeElement etc). Some other DOM add-ons like the ones at http://www.thinkvitamin.com/features/javascript/15-things-you-can-do-with-yahoo-ui would be nice.

Yes I plan on leaving the tools package stand alone requiring nothing more than YAHOO and Dom. I’m hoping to add a few new functions to it, I’ll definitely look into the info in that article.
